Job summary

Detroit Medical Center in Hamtramck, Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Endoscopy to join our nursing team. The RN will manage patient care for a group of patients, lead in collaboration with physicians, and contribute to teaching and supervision as part of the Patient Care Services Team.

The role requires nursing graduation, Michigan RN licensure, and AHA BLS certification. This is a staff, full-time position with a day shift, offering a competitive benefits package

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Michigan.
• AHA BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians and other health care providers.
• Delegates, assesses, provides and evaluates patient care.
• Provides and delegates patient care activities to team members.
• Monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge.
• Reports directly to senior unit management and participates in shared decision-making activities.
