Detroit Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator, Endoscopy in Detroit, Michigan. The role combines staff leadership with clinical coordination to ensure high-quality endoscopy services.

You will schedule, mentor, and support the nursing team while collaborating with the unit and hospital leadership to optimize care delivery. The position emphasizes leadership in care delivery, staff development, and adherence to department policies.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Michigan.
• One to two years of progressively more responsible leadership experience.
• Ability to prioritize work, delegate to others and facilitate processes.
• Minimum Level 6 of the Promoting Excellence criteria if internal candidate.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsabilités

• Functions as lead and resource for nursing personnel; plan staff meetings.
• Collaborate on scheduling to maintain nurse-patient ratios and shift coverage.
• Facilitate unit throughput and improve length of stay where possible.
• Coordinate in-service programs to maintain staff competence.
• Assist with interview, retention, mentoring, and evaluation of staff.
• Contribute to development of department policies and standards.
• Support process improvement and peer review initiatives.
