Detroit Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator, Endoscopy in Hamtramck, Michigan. This on-site role coordinates care, leads staff, and supports process improvement within the Endoscopy specialty.

The position requires an RN license in Michigan, 1–2 years of leadership, and BLS (ACLS preferred). A BSN is preferred; associates degree or diploma is required. Tenet/ DMC offers robust benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or diploma in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of Michigan.
• 1–2 years of progressively more responsible experience with leadership abilities.
• Ability to prioritize work, delegate to others and facilitate processes.
• Minimum Level 6 of Promoting Excellence if internal candidate, preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and resource nurse personnel; act as clinical resource and support staffing plans and staff meetings.
• Monitor schedule to ensure adequate nurse-patient ratios; coordinate with staffing office for changes.
• Facilitate shared decision making and unit throughput to improve LOS.
• Provide in-service programs to maintain staff competence; address identified learning needs.
• Assist with interviewing, retention, mentoring, and evaluation of staff.
• Contribute to development of department policies, procedures and standards.
• Support department Process Improvement and Peer Review.
