Job summary

Oro Valley Hospital in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the GI Lab Endoscopy team. The RN provides patient-centered care before, during, and after procedures, assists physicians, monitors patient vitals, administers medications, and supports recovery.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety, adherence to protocols, and compassionate education for patients and families. Endoscopy RN credentials include state RN licensure and BCLS/ACLS; 0-2 years experience

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• RN – Registered Nurse – state licensure required; BCLS/ACLS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in the GI Lab/endoscopy.
• Assists physicians during endoscopy procedures (e.g., colonoscopy) and monitors patient status.
• Performs post-procedure recovery care and educates patients and families.
• Maintains infection control and safety standards in the endoscopy suite.
• Documents care and supports preop/postop and PACU activities.
