Job summary

The Endoscopy unit provides advanced diagnostics and interventional procedures, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based care, patient education, and teamwork within a Magnet-designated environment.

Qualifications

• 1.Bachelors degree in Nursing (Associates considered with the review of the Nursing Executive Council).
• 2.Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• 3.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Plans and develops individualized outcomes-based care plans incorporating the patient and family’s readiness.
• Orchestrates and validates a plan of care for each shift; initiates interdisciplinary patient/family meetings to facilitate communication.
• Implements the plan in a safe and timely manner; documents modifications and outcomes; coordinates discharge planning.
