Tufts Medical Center is seeking a Professional Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy unit. This 40-hour-per-week role includes day/evening shifts.

The RN provides expert care for adults undergoing endoscopic procedures, including specialized interventions and postoperative education, while coordinating with the Pulmonary and GI teams. The individual will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care plan from admission through discharge and uphold evidence-based practices in a patient-family

Qualifications

• Requires RN license and active nursing license verification.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent with licensing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for adults in Endoscopy.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient education with families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Document care and patient responses in accordance with standards.
• Participate in safety and quality initiatives and performance improvement.
