The Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, seeks an Endoscopy Registered Nurse to manage care for patients undergoing endoscopy. You will provide education on procedural and post-procedural care, document interventions, findings, and report changes.

Ideal candidates have endoscopy/gastroenterology experience, current RN licensure in the United States, and experience with conscious sedation.

Qualificações

• Endoscopy/Gastroenterology experience preferred.
• ACLS certification and ability to provide conscious sedation are desired.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the United States is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for endoscopy patients.
• Provides conscious sedation and assists physicians during procedures.
• Educates patients/families on procedural and post-procedural care; documents responses and changes.
• Administers medications and assists with procedures per policies and guidelines.
• Coordinates care across the continuum, focusing on patient education and satisfaction.

Endoscopy/Gastroenterology experience

ACLS

Formação académica

RN license with approved nursing program

US State RN licensure
