Job summary

Tidelands Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Endoscopy to manage individualized patient care, support physicians, and supervise team members. The RN will assist with procedures, ensure sterilization of endoscopy equipment and maintain PAR levels, while being on-call as required.

Ideal candidates hold ADN with acute care experience; BSN/MSN are preferred. Must maintain SC RN licensure and BLS/ACLS as required.

Qualifications

• ADN is required.
• Acute care experience is required.
• Endoscopy or OR experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up endoscopy procedures and test equipment before use.
• Maintain aseptic technique and proper handling of scopes.
• Follow Universal Protocol and Time-Out procedures.
• Label, transport and log specimens in the lab.
• Provide patient care, education and emergency resuscitation per protocol.
