Qualifications include ADN/BSN, active RN licensure, and at least two years of recent nursing experience. BLS/ACLS/ENPC/PALS certifications are preferred; internal candidates may have a probationary pathway.

Qualifications

• Current state RN licensure.
• External applicants: two years recent nursing experience.
• Military RN experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services.
• Assess patients and document findings; notify physicians of abnormal results.
• Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Develop and implement care plans with patients and families.
• Coordinate ongoing care and discharge planning.
• Maintain core nursing competencies (e.g., CPR).
• Assist with specialized equipment as needed.
