Job summary

Charleston GI is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care on the Endoscopy Unit, handling pre- and post-procedure care for endoscopic and InterStim procedures in an outpatient setting. The role may supervise other licensed and unlicensed personnel as directed by the Director of Nursing.

A SC RN license and BLS certification are required, with ACLS certification preferred and to be obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

• RN with graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Knowledge of nursing theory and practice and of safety procedures.
• Ability to document thoroughly and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure care for endoscopic procedures.
• Initiate and assist with emergency measures as needed.
• Supervise licensed and unlicensed staff as directed by nursing leadership.
