Geisinger is seeking an Endoscopy RN to join our team in Pennsylvania. The role involves patient assessment, education, and triage, with primary clinical support to providers to facilitate diagnosis and treatment.

The position is full-time, 40 hours weekly, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with rotating holidays and weekend call. Endoscopy experience is strongly preferred; ACLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Competenze

• Endoscopy experience strongly preferred.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• RN licensure in Pennsylvania is required.
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing is required.

Mansioni

• Perform patient assessment and basic data collection for provider review.
• Assist GI endoscopic procedures as directed to support accurate diagnosis and care.
• Document and file patient information and follow up on diagnostic testing for continuity of care.
• Administer medications and IV therapies per unit protocol and monitor patient responses.
• Instruct patients and families about conditions and post-procedure care.
