Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Registered Nurse II to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care within the Endoscopy unit. You will work 36 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, with day shifts and on-call responsibilities as described.

Requirements include SC compact or SC RN licensure, BLS, and a BSN preferred; if holding an ADN/ Diploma, BSN must be pursued within two years and completed within four. At least one year of RN experience is required.

Qualifications

• RN license in SC or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, from AHA or Red Cross.
• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred; if RN with an Associate or Diploma, must enroll in an accredited BSN program within two years and obtain BSN within four years.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe and effective care and collaborate with the health care team to achieve desired results.
