Job summary

Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor, MI, is seeking a registered nurse to join its nursing team supporting GI endoscopy and pulmonary procedures. The role involves coordinating care across pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases, administering sedation under physician direction, and providing patient and family education.

This flexible, hybrid or mobile/remote work mode is at the department's discretion; hours are 40 per week, day/evening shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered along

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in Michigan.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience in procedures/preop/PACU/ICU/ED/sedation.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Experience with Epic EHR documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for GI endoscopy or pulmonary procedures.
• Coordinate care across pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases.
• Assist with endoscopy procedures and room turnover.
• Administer sedation/analgesia under physician direction.
• Maintain patient and family education and discharge teaching.
