Job summary

United-Digestive in Georgia seeks a Registered Nurse to provide individualized nursing care in the endoscopy center, following physician orders and nursing standards. You will plan, execute, and evaluate care, interfacing with patients through every phase of their procedure and recovery, with independence and self-direction expected.

Candidates must hold a Georgia RN license, have nursing degree, and prefer GI endoscopy experience. BLS is required; ACLS is recommended.

Qualifications

Must hold a current Georgia RN license.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
GI endoscopy experience preferred.
Membership in GI specialty societies encouraged.
BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is recommended but optional.
Completion of Airway Management Module is required before administering IV conscious sedation; score 100% on the post-test.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized and specialized nursing care to patients in the endoscopy center according to physician orders and nursing standards.
Plan, execute and evaluate nursing care; maintain contact with patients through every phase of their experience.
Work independently with minimal supervision; may travel to a sister center.
Ensure compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
