Job summary

Washington Gastroenterology in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for our Endoscopy Centers. The RN provides direct patient care in the Endoscopy Center and clinical setting, following physician orders and nursing standards while ensuring patient safety.

The role requires WA RN license, BLS, ACLS within 90 days, and preferred gastroenterology experience. IV therapy and sedation support are part of duties, with documentation in EMR ongoing.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in Washington.
• BLS certification, ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in clinical or gastroenterology settings preferred.
• IV therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Endoscopy Center per physician orders.
• Assess and advocate for patient needs from admission to discharge.
• Document thoroughly and maintain confidentiality in EMR.
• Initiate and direct life support measures in code situations.
• Support sedation under physician supervision and manage IV access.
