Job summary

Optum WA in Everett, WA is seeking an Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our gastroenterology team. The RN will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and coordinate endoscopy services to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Registered Nurse license through the Washington State DOH.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare providers (AHA).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the health status of the patient to develop an individualized plan of care.
• Implements and documents the nursing plan of care.
• Coordinates endoscopy support services and communicates with staff.
• Maintains a safe environment and applies aseptic technique.
• Educates patient and family and ensures continuity of care.

Education

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA)

ACLS certification (within 3 months of hire)
