Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking an Endoscopy RN for a part-time, rotating shift position at Grove City. The RN will participate in EGD’s, colonoscopies, ERCP’s, EUS’s, bronchoscopies and manometry, collaborating with proceduralists and anesthesia.

The team emphasizes flexibility, teamwork, and patient-centered care. The role requires nursing education, Ohio RN licensure, and supports career development with residency for new grads, ongoing training, and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from school of nursing.
• Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• For Casual RNs 2 years of experience is required.
• All new graduate nurses with less than one (1) year of clinical experience are subject to participate and will be automatically enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care, ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives.
• Assesses and evaluates patient care for an assigned group of patients, develops and implements a plan of care.
• Communicates pertinent information to team members in a timely manner and keeps patient/family updated.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes according to standards.
