Job summary

The GI Endoscopy Center in Middletown, OH is seeking a part-time RN to support endoscopy procedures. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after procedures, administer medications as ordered, monitor patient safety, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient turnover and high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will have an accredited nursing degree, active RN license, and relevant ambulatory surgery experience, with CPR/ACLS as required

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing.
• RN with active license, no restrictions.
• One year of nursing experience, preferably in ambulatory surgery.
• CPR certification and/or ACLS-PALS as required by Center.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Center policies and procedures.
• Provide nursing care and monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures.
• Start IVs, administer medications per physician orders, and document accurately.
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and comfort throughout care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe continuity of patient care.
• Adhere to sterile technique and infection control standards.
• Assist with room setup, turnover, and equipment/shares as needed.
• Participate in safety and quality improvement activities.
