Job summary

Mount Carmel Grove City is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy department. The RN will participate in procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, bronchoscopy and manometry, collaborating with proceduralists and anesthesia.

Flexible hours and strong teamwork are emphasized. Responsibilities include providing safe nursing care, developing and implementing a care plan with patients and families, accurate documentation, and timely communication with the team.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from school of nursing.
• Licensure: Current Ohio RN license.
• For Casual RNs, 2 years of experience are required.
• New grads with less than 1 year will enter Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care, ensures patient safety and applies evidence-based practice.
• Assesses and plans care with patient and family, including physical, spiritual and educational needs.
• Communicates pertinent information to the team in a timely manner and keeps patient/family updated.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately per policy.
• Assumes responsibility for care provided and documented by others as appropriate.
