Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Grove City, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy department. The RN will participate in EGD’s, colonoscopies, ERCP’s, EUS’s, bronchoscopies and manometry, supporting anesthesia and proceduralists in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from nursing school or equivalent.
• Current RN license to practice in Ohio.
• For Casual RNs, 2 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and ensure patient safety while promoting evidence-based practice.
• Assess and plan care with patient and family, addressing physical, spiritual and educational needs.
• Communicate pertinent information to the care team in a timely manner and keep patient/family updated.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately per policies.
• Accept accountability for care provided and documented by other staff as appropriate.
