Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Grove City is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy department. The RN will participate in EGD’s, colonoscopies, ERCP’s, EUS’s, bronchoscopies, and manometry procedures, working with anesthesia in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from school of nursing.
• Licensure: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Casual RNs require 2 years of experience.
• New graduate nurses may enroll in the Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care, ensures patient safety, and promotes evidence-based practice.
• Assess and evaluate patient care, collaborating with patient and family to plan care.
• Communicate pertinent information to the team in a timely manner.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately.
• Be accountable for care provided and for documentation by others as appropriate.
