Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy unit on a per diem, part-time basis on-site. The role offers a mixed 8-hour shift with Monday–Friday scheduling and potential signing bonus discussed during interview.

You will apply the nursing process from admission to discharge, perform assessments, coordinate care, supervise colleagues and delegate tasks per competency. MA RN license and BLS are required; BSN and GI certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license is required.
• BLS certification required; advanced certifications encouraged.
• BSN preferred; GI certification would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing process for care delivery from admission to discharge.
• Perform patient assessment and reassessment per nursing standards.
• Develop and coordinate care plans including discharge planning and teaching.
• Direct, supervise, coordinate and evaluate nursing care in the setting.
• Delegate tasks to others per job description and competency.
