Job summary

The US Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an Endoscopy Registered Nurse to deliver and manage care for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will educate patients on procedural and post-procedural care, document responses and findings, and coordinate care to ensure patient safety throughout the endoscopy process. A current RN license and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English as required for direct patient care.
  • Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by accrediting bodies.
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers and manages care for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures.
  • Provides education on procedural and post-procedural care; documents responses and findings.
  • Works with inpatients and outpatients; ensures timely reporting of changes.
