Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care, care coordination, health promotion and coaching on wellness and chronic care management.
• Oversees licensed vocational nurses and health/nursing assistants as appropriate to the Endoscopy unit.
• Administers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines.
• Performs pre-procedure assessments, post-procedure recovery, and assists physicians during procedures.
• Maintains proficiency with endoscopy equipment maintenance, cleaning and preparation.
• Partners with patient and interdisciplinary team to ensure safe transitions across the care continuum.
