UC Davis Health seeks aClinical Nurse in the Endoscopy department to provide high-quality direct patient care across GI/endoscopy procedures, including sedation, recovery and post-care planning. You will educate patients and families and collaborate with proceduralists and staff to ensure safety and quality.

Requirements include 2 years of endoscopy RN experience, 1 year of moderate sedation, CA RN license, and ACLS/PALS certification. This is a 100% on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of recent RN endoscopy procedural experience as primary focus of work.
• One (1) year of recent RN Moderate Sedation experience as a substantial component of work responsibilities.
• Valid California Registered Nurse License without restriction.
• AHA or Red Cross BLS, or UC Davis Health CPR.
• ACLS.
• PALS.
• Moderate Sedation Certification.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Knowledge of current trends in nursing.
• Commitment to excellence in patient care.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates accountability and professionalism.
• Adapts to change in a positive, professional and productive manner.
• Knowledge of legal implications in clinical practice and documentation.
