Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Charlotte, NC. You will apply evidence-based practices, coordinate with the care team, and ensure patient safety while delivering high-quality nursing care across the continuum.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. BLS and an active RN license are required, with potential to float as needed within the service area.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state compact or single-state in the state(s) where services are provided.
• BLS certification.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience (typical).

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patient/family involvement.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to clinical protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Float to other units within the service area as needed.
• Adhere to ANA Code of Ethics and promote ethical decision-making.
