Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license.
• Current CPR/BLS and ACLS/PALS certifications.
• BSN preferred.
• Endoscopy experience or competence is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to Endoscopy patients per NJ Nurse Practice Act.
• Perform nursing assessments and develop an individualized plan of care.
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions based on patient condition.
• Promote patient safety and identify potential risks.
• Communicate clearly with patients and families during procedural care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team.
• Apply evidence-based nursing principles to clinical decisions.
• Maintain knowledge of the patient population and adapt care accordingly.
• Identify and report safety concerns or potential medical errors.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and ongoing development.
