Job summary

UMC Health System in Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse for Endoscopy and Surgical Services. This full-time, days position includes 0830-1700 hours with call, reporting to the Vice President for ICU and Endoscopy Services.

You will provide direct patient care, assess and plan nursing strategies, and coordinate with multiple shifts for seamless patient experiences. The role requires a Texas RN license, BSN within 3 years or already obtained, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Valid Texas RN License/Eligible Compact License.
• Must maintain a current BLS, ACLS, & PALS certification from American Heart Association.
• BSN required or must be obtained within 3 years of hire.
• 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Acute Care Experienced Required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement or delegate, plan, and evaluate total nursing care for a group of patients.
• Relate effectively with other shifts/departments for optimal continuity of care.
