Job summary

Banner Health in Glendale, Arizona is seeking a dedicated Endoscopy RN to join our team at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center. You will provide nursing care across admitting, recovery, and circulating roles, with opportunities to work with pediatric patients and cross-training across units.

The position is full-time (32 hours, four 8-hour day shifts) with call rotation for nights, weekends and holidays, offering a night differential and weekend differential where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Experience must include working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as an RN in the specialty area.

Responsibilities

• This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice.
• Formulates a plan of care with the discharge plan, collaborating with patient/family and health team.
• Implements the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination and supervision of the health care team.
