Job summary

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center is seeking an Endoscopy RN for a day shift, full-time role (32 hours across four 8-hour shifts per week). The position includes call rotation for nights, weekends and holidays with an 18% night differential and a weekend differential of $3/hour when applicable.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, planning and delivering nursing care, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring documentation and compliance with standards of care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual and discharge needs.
• Formulate and update a comprehensive plan of care with the team.
• Implement and coordinate nursing care per physician orders and policy.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust the care plan as needed.
• Document assessments, plans and responses in the medical record.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Contribute to unit leadership and nursing quality improvement.
