Job summary

UC Health is hiring a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN-CN1) for the Endoscopy Department, first shift at UC Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH. The RN promotes and restores patients' health through nursing processes and collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an OH RN license, ADN (BSN preferred), BLS; ACLS preferred; with 1 year RN experience and Endoscopy/ICU/PACU experience preferred. EEO employer.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS preferred.
• 1 year RN experience; Endoscopy/ICU/PACU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, implements, evaluates and coordinates interdisciplinary plan of care for each patient in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Communicates plan of care to all levels involved and prioritizes based on patient needs.
• Instructs patients and families on treatment and continuing care.
• Identifies and responds to behavioral health or cultural needs in patient care.
• Documents nursing process accurately and timely per policy.
• Mentors new staff and supports unit operations and professional development.
