Job summary

WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals is seeking an Endoscopy Technician/Sterile Processing staff member to support ENDO/OR turnovers and patient care. You will clean, decontaminate, and sterilize endoscopes, instruments, and supplies, while maintaining high-level disinfection records and infection control standards.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, CRCST/CSPDT within 12 months, and BLS within 30 days, with about one year of patient support experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification within 12 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• One year experience in a patient support role.

Responsibilities

• Clean, decontaminate, and process endoscopes and accessories per IFU.
• Maintain sterilization records and QA logs.
• Assist with ENDO/OR room turnovers and instrument processing.
• Operate sterilization equipment safely and inventory supplies.
• Track scopes and report missing items.
