Job summary

WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals is seeking an Endoscopy Processing Technician to decontaminate, sterilize, and track scopes and accessories. You will follow IFUs, maintain inventory, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role supports ENDO room turnovers and may assist with patient care tasks under supervision.

The position requires CRCST certification, a high school diploma, and BLS within 30 days. Rotating M-F with on-call weekends, on-site at Morgantown WV.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have CRCST certification.
• Obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, decontaminates, and processes reusable patient care equipment and scopes per IFUs and policies.
• Operates sterilization and disinfection equipment to maintain ENDO inventory.
• Restocks carts and maintains disinfectant supplies and stock levels.
• Checks expiration dates and hang times of scopes and supplies.
• Records sterilization and QA logs and tracks processing with computer software.
• Assists in room turnovers and may help with patient care tasks.
