Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process (assess, plan, implement and evaluate) to provide safe, quality care to GI patients.
• Translates nursing knowledge into practice for endoscopy patients across multiple units.
• Performs pre-op assessments, coordinates patient flow and prioritizes nursing activities.
• Provides post-op follow-up calls and communicates hand-offs to the team.
• Performs and supervises care for patients undergoing anesthesia and endoscopy procedures.
