Job summary

Banner Health Corporate is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support daily patient care in a fast-paced Endoscopy-Hosp unit. The role includes assisting with daily activities, vital signs, documentation in the EMR, and collaboration with licensed staff.

The ideal candidate has a current CNA license for the state, BLS, and strong communication and organizational skills. This on-site position offers full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current CNA certification in state of practice required.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required for some Banner locations.
• 1 year of medical clerical experience preferred, hospital/clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, hygiene, mobility and nutrition.
• Collect specimens and data; record vital signs and intake/output.
• Report changes in patient condition to licensed professional.
• Perform delegated procedures (e.g., blood draws, EKGs) under supervision.
• Provide receptionist/clerical support to maintain department flow.
• Maintain patient records and ensure chart forms are filed in EMR.
• Monitor supplies and place requisitions; track equipment.
