Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Milton is seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse to join the Endoscopy Department. You will provide hands-on care across the patient journey, collaborating with physicians, CRNAs, and endoscopy technicians.

The role emphasizes safe patient transport, sedation support, and smooth workflow. You’ll lead and support an Endoscopy Technician, communicate clearly, and contribute to a high-quality, compassionate patient experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ medical/surgical experience, outpatient and GI nursing preferred
• Current MA RN license
• BLS and ACLS required with American Heart Association
• Current IV skills preferred
• Previous Endoscopy or critical care experience required

Responsibilities

• Delivering patient care across pre-procedure, procedural, and recovery phases
• Safely assisting and transporting patients, including those under sedation
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure smooth workflows
• Leading and supporting an Endoscopy Technician, including delegating tasks as needed
• Communicating clearly, accepting feedback, and contributing positively to team goals
