Job summary

Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is seeking a Circulating Assistant to support the Ambulatory Surgery Center. You will help maintain a safe procedure environment, organize supplies, and assist with patient flow during endoscopic procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or 1–3 months related experience) and BLS certification. Preferred: Sterile Processor experience and knowledge of surgical procedures. Shift is day, Mon–Fri, hourly non-exempt.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Assist ambulatory surgery by preparing the suite and ensuring a safe environment.
• Restock and organize supplies to maintain inventory.
• Assist with patient transport, procedure monitoring, room turnover, and instrument processing.
• Support room personnel with patient preparations and positioning per policy.
• Label and document specimens as procedures are performed by the physician.
• Complete duty checklists and logs; uphold aseptic practices.
