Job summary

MNGI Digestive Health is seeking a part-time Front Desk/Receptionist at the Woodbury Endoscopy Center. This role involves greeting patients, checking in appointments, assisting with forms while protecting patient privacy, and supporting patients emotionally throughout visits.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and CPR/BLS certification; the clinic offers 401(k), profit sharing, generous PTO, and disability coverage as part of its benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CPR certification required or obtainable within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors
• Check in all appointments that occur at the endoscopy center.
• Assist patients with completing necessary forms while maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and practice regulations.
• Assist patients and visitors with questions and concerns
• Maintain a clean and presentable lobby area.
• Greet and room patients.
• Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing and toileting, and support mobility needs.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and visitors
• Observe and report changes in patients’ condition to nursing staff
• Document care provided accurately and promptly
• Assist patients during the discharge process
• Clean and prepare patient areas and restrooms according to policies
• Monitor and restock supplies and report low items
