Job summary

MNGI Digestive Health in Woodbury, MN is seeking a Part-time Front Desk Coordinator for our Woodbury Endoscopy Center. You will check in patients, answer questions, maintain confidentiality, and help with forms while ensuring a welcoming, efficient lobby and accurate scheduling.

In Admitting/Recovery/Circulating and Procedure Room roles, you will assist with patient transport, room preparation, instrument turnover, and discharge planning, while upholding HIPAA, infection control, and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare education preferred.
• CPR certification is required or willing to obtain within 3 months of start date.
• BLS Certification required. Ability to gain certification will be provided through MNGI, must be completed within 3 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors at front desk and check in appointments.
• Assist patients with forms while maintaining HIPAA privacy and confidentiality.
• Answer questions and maintain a clean, welcoming lobby area.
• Greet and room patients; safeguard patient privacy.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility needs as needed.
• Provide emotional support to patients and visitors; observe and report changes to nursing staff.
• Document care provided accurately and promptly; assist with discharge process.
• Prepare and restock patient areas; ensure infection control and sanitation standards.
