Job summary

UT Southwestern Department of Dermatology in Dallas is seeking a registered nurse for the Endocrinology Park Cities Clinic. The role delivers nursing interventions, schedules tests, and educates patients in alignment with the medical plan of care.

You will work under physician or nurse leadership, ensure proper documentation, and participate in clinical activities. The ideal candidate holds an ADN or BSN, Texas RN license, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved nursing program with ADN.
  • Licensure as Registered Nurse in Texas and BLS certification.
  • Specialty areas may have increased experience requirements as dictated by clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers nursing interventions aligned with the medical plan of care.
  • Schedules patient appointments, tests, and procedures; reinforces physician instructions.
  • Provides patient education and documents responses in the medical record.
  • Triages patient inquiries per protocols and maintains accurate records.
  • Assists physicians during exams and procedures; administers medications as prescribed.

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
