Qualifications

• Education: ADN from an approved/accredited nursing program (RN).
• Experience: Specialty areas may have increased experience requirements as dictated by clinic or standard of care.
• Licenses and Certifications: RN licensure in Texas and BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Deliver nursing interventions consistent with the medical plan of care.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, tests, and procedures; reinforce physician instructions.
• Provide patient education and document responses in medical records.
• Obtain necessary patient consents for research or treatment; triage patient inquiries per protocols.
• Supervise licensed vocational nurses and other staff; assist with procedures as needed.
• Maintain EMR proficiency and participate in policy/procedural improvements.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during exams and procedures; administer medications as prescribed.
