Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Licensure as Registered Nurse by Board of Nurse Examiners for State of Texas Upon Hire (RN).
  • Basic Life Support through course accredited by AHA or ARC Upon Hire.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers nursing interventions in accordance with the medical plan of care.
  • Schedules patients' appointments, tests, and procedures.
  • Provides patient education and documents responses in medical records.
  • Obtains required patient consents and authorizations for research or treatment.
  • Triages patient phone inquiries per protocols and documents actions.
