Permanent Endocrinology Position - Southern Border of Ohio, on the North Bank of the Ohio River

Looking for a Board Certified/Eligible Endocrinologist to join a hospital-employed multispecialty group.

Office Hours/Work Schedule

Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.

Limited call: No ER call, minimal inpatient call, outpatient call for emergent issues only, shared with Family Practice physician via answering service.

Staffing

• Family Practice physician
• Potential for 2 NPs
• 1 Medical Office Assistant
• 1 LPN per provider
• 1 Office Manager
• Certified Diabetes Educator and/or Certified Insulin Pump Educator

Case Load

Approximately 30 patients per day. Anticipated procedures include Ultrasound Guided Fine Needle Aspiration Thyroid Biopsy.

Practice Expectations

Seeking a highly motivated candidate eager to make a meaningful community impact. The community has a significant diabetic population and various endocrine issues, with no current Endocrinologist on staff, leading to patients seeking treatment elsewhere.

The candidate should provide comprehensive endocrine services, managing complex diabetic cases, insulin pump therapy, thyroid, adrenal, parathyroid, pituitary, osteoporosis, and other endocrine disorders, with skills in thyroid ultrasound and biopsy.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual Salary: $233,266 - $276,296 with a 2-year contract
• Vacation: 4 weeks plus holidays/sick days (29 PTO days)
• Additional 5 days PTO for achieving 75th percentile wRVUs
• CME/Books & Journals: 5 days PTO and up to $5,000
• Medical School Loan Repayment: up to $200,000 ($25,000/year)
• Retirement Plans: 457b (deferred compensation), 403b (matching up to 2% of base pay)
• Moving Expense: $10,000
• Malpractice Insurance Coverage
• Health Insurance: small premium deducted from paycheck
• Non-compete clause or liquidated damages equivalent to one year's salary
• Sign-on Bonus: 15% of base salary up to $100,000, paid at signing and forgiven over 2-4 years
• Residency Stipend: up to $25,000 (requires 2-year service commitment)
• Bonus Incentives: up to 30% of salary
