Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Endocrinology department. The APP will see general endocrine and diabetes patients in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts. No weekends or holidays. The role emphasizes patient care, collaboration with physicians, and ongoing education for patients and families, with opportunities for teaching and professional development within NM.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited nursing school or PA program.
• Current IL RN/Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant license.
• Credentialing through Northwestern Medicine MSO.
• CPR/BLS certification by American Heart Association.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct clinical care to endocrine patients.
• Prescribe medications and order lab tests as allowed by privileges.
• Collaborate with endocrinologists and health professionals.
• Educate patients and families and document care in the medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement and professional development.
