Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. in Boston, MA is seeking a friendly Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team part-time (2 days per week).

You will provide care to residents with endocrine disorders, including diabetes and thyroid issues, working alongside a dedicated team in a facility setting. The ideal candidate has at least 6 months in long-term care, an active NP/PA license, a DEA license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility.
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
• DEA License.
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified.
• Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing.
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• A year of experience in Endocrinology.
• Experience with documenting in EMR systems (Sigma, Visual, PCC) is a plus.
• Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds and stand/walk/work up to 6–8 hours/day.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare services and coordinate patient care.
• Assess and treat patients with endocrinology diseases and conditions.
• Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat residents' physical and mental well-being.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Prescribe medication and administer treatments.
• Provide counseling to residents and their families.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for seamless coordination of care.
• Manage chronic conditions and monitor progress.
• Make appropriate adjustments to care plans.

• Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day
