Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. seeks a compassionate Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive endocrine care for residents in long-term care facilities.

The role focuses on diabetes, thyroid conditions, and hormone-related issues in a dedicated team. Part-time position (3 days per week) in Lancaster, PA, offering a salary of $60,000 to $90,000 per year, with benefits such as PTO and malpractice insurance, and opportunities to contribute to patient-centered senior

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility.
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
• DEA license.
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified.
• Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing.
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• A year of experience in Endocrinology.
• Preferred EMR documentation experience (Sigma, Visual, PCC).
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand/walk/work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare services and coordinate patient care.
• Assess and treat patients with endocrinology diseases and conditions.
• Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat residents' physical and mental well-being.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Prescribe medication and administer treatments.
• Provide counseling to residents and their families.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for seamless coordination of care.
• Manage chronic conditions and monitor progress.
• Make appropriate adjustments to care plans.
