The MedElite Group is seeking a part-time Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant in Easton, PA. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients with endocrine disorders, working collaboratively in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility.
  • Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
  • DEA license required.
  • CPR BCLS/BLS certification.
  • One year of experience in Endocrinology preferred.
  • Capability to lift 20 pounds and stand/walk for 6-8 hours.

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to join our team. In this role you will provide comprehensive care to patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid conditions, and other hormone‑related issues.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive healthcare services and coordinate patient care
  • Assess and treat patients with endocrinology diseases and conditions
  • Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat residents’ physical and mental well‑being
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Prescribe medication and administer treatments
  • Provide counseling to residents and their families
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for seamless coordination of care
  • Manage chronic conditions and monitor progress
  • Make appropriate adjustments to care plans
  • Commit to person‑centered care
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for elderly residents in the nursing home
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in long‑term care or a skilled nursing facility
  • Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
  • DEA license
  • CPR BCLS/BLS certification
  • Master’s degree in Nursing
  • Completed an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • One year of experience in Endocrinology
  • Optional experience documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.); training provided
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand/walk/work on feet for 6‑8 hours per day
