HealthPartners is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA) to join the Endocrinology clinic in Minnesota. The role provides primary, preventive, and acute care within the department, closely collaborating with physicians and a professional mentor.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program and completion of Masters of Science Degree in Nursing or graduate of AMA accredited physician assistant program.
• Current Minnesota license as a Registered Nurse and recognition as an Advanced Practice Nurse by the Minnesota and Wisconsin State Boards of Nursing or current license as a Physician Assistant by the Minnesota and Wisconsin Boards of Medical Practice.
• Certification as a Specialized Nurse Practitioner by the National Certification Board of the specialization or certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
• Current DEA License.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification required for General Surgery.

Responsabilités

• Provides health care services in the clinic setting to department-specific patients, including primary and preventive care as well as treatment of acute illness and injury.
• Performs patient examination, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, and communicates results and follow-up plans.
• Documents in the medical record and ensures accurate coding and timely progress notes.
• Collaborates with physicians and health care team to ensure quality patient care and continuous improvement.
• Participates in weekend hours and call responsibilities as assigned.
