Job summary

Sansum Clinic in Santa Barbara, CA seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join our Endocrinology team. This is a full-time, outpatient role with 36 patient-care hours per week, Monday–Friday daytime schedule and no hospital duties.

You will manage Type I and II diabetes and other endocrine conditions, work with a multidisciplinary team, provide patient education, and support chronic disease management. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, CME stipend, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• NP with directly related Endocrinology experience.
• Excellent skill set in Endocrinology and diabetes care.
• Interest in following chronic conditions over time.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient endocrine care, including chronic disease management.
• Manage Type I & Type II diabetes and other endocrine conditions.
• Deliver follow-up visits and add-on visits within a care-team pod.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, RNs, diabetes educators, and staff.
• Provide patient education on diet, exercise, medications, and long-term disease management.
• Participate in administrative duties (approx. 10% of workload).
