Job summary

Sansum Clinic in Santa Barbara, CA, seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Endocrinology team in a full-time outpatient role. The position offers a 2-year guarantee, with a salary range of $130,000 to $180,000 per year.

No hospital duties or call, 36 patient-care hours weekly, Monday–Friday daytime schedule. Candidates must be NP/PA certified, possess a CA license or be able to obtain one, and hold a DEA certificate and/or California Furnishing License.

Qualifications

NP/PA with Directly Related Endocrinology experience.
Excellent skill set in Endocrinology and ability to manage chronic conditions.

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient endocrine care, including chronic disease management.
Manage Type I & Type II diabetes and other endocrine-related conditions.
Deliver follow-up visits and urgent add-on visits within a care-team pod model.
Collaborate with physicians, RNs, diabetes educators, and clinical staff.
Educate patients on diet, exercise, medications, and long-term disease management.
Participate in administrative duties (approximately 10% of workload).
